Character dive: Jayla Rose

This blog post will be a dive into who Jayla Rose is. In about two weeks I will be posting one more of these about Faith Holt.

Enough exposition, let's dive!

Jayla Rose is nineteen years old. She is a bubbly, energetic teen who loves a lot of

different things. If you watched her CD (character description) video on instagram, you know her favourite colour is yellow. She grew up within the church, and still struggles with being herself. Within her letters you read about her struggle with people pleasing. She doesn't try to, but she changes her personality and attitude depending on the needs of the people around her. When she does start to be herself it doesn't go well and she has to figure out who she is — but not alone.

I intentionally, didn't describe her too much because within future letters she is going to discover who she is. Jayla is such a fun character to write, mostly because I see myself in her a lot.

She loves people and community but finds it hard to open up with people.
